20 Minutes for Better Health

To improve your overall health, you only need to do one thing: Just take a 20-minute walk every day.

You know walking improves heart health and helps with weight control. But it does much more. It cleanses our bodies and rids us of toxins, boosts energy levels and improves digestion. It improves good and bad cholesterol, boosts our moods and helps us sleep better. Walking also lowers blood pressure and cuts the risk of developing diabetes.

Regular walking is easy to do. Almost everyone can do it, and all you need is comfortable, supportive shoes. It can be done outside or inside at malls or other facilities in cold or rainy weather. It’s also less likely to lead to injuries compared to other exercises.
